For EU accessibility lawyers building a BFSG / EAA practice.
The European Accessibility Act came into force on 28 June 2025. German Verbraucherzentralen and civil-society plaintiffs have begun filing BFSG-Abmahnungen against e-commerce operators in volume. The operators they reach all need the same thing: a Fachanwalt who has seen one of these before.
WCAGdesk is the EU's defensible-evidence platform for accessibility compliance. We have customers receiving Abmahnungen. We refer them to counsel. We are opening a 50-seat founding-partner cohort.
From mid-2025 onward the BFSG enforcement landscape resembles the early DSGVO years: a small group of practitioners builds the reference cases, and that group becomes the default referral list for the next five years. The founding-partner cohort is our attempt to seed that list deliberately rather than letting it accrue by random search.
BFSG in force: 28 June 2025 · cohort closes: 30 September 2026Founding-partner benefits
- Featured directory listing. Your firm appears in our in-app referral picker when a Counsel-tier customer requests a Fachanwalt match. Founding partners get the badge and a guaranteed position above non-founding firms in the same jurisdiction.
- Lead-share program. Direct introductions from incoming Abmahnung response-kit users in your area of focus (BFSG / IT-Recht / Datenschutz). Volume to date: small but increasing month-on-month — we forward 100% of qualified leads, not a curated subset.
- § 49b BRAO-compliant structure — no per-mandate commission. We do not pay or accept fees for the brokerage of mandates, and we expect partner firms to treat the relationship the same way. Value to the partner firm comes through (a) the directory listing, (b) the triaged-evidence-pack workflow that makes Abmahnung-defence mandates faster to take on, and (c) the documented co-marketing arrangement below. A separately negotiated quarterly marketing budget for authored content / sponsored webinars is available for partners who want a more active collaboration — disclosed and documented as a marketing expense, not a per-client referral fee.
- Co-marketing slot. One quarterly webinar or joint briefing per year, hosted under WCAGdesk distribution, on a topic of your choice (BFSG case law update, Abmahnung response tactics, EU accessibility procurement). We supply audience, slides, and a recorded artefact you can use in your own marketing.
- Pre-publication access to the quarterly State of EU Web Accessibility report we are publishing starting Q3 2026 — aggregate scan data across thousands of sites, citable in your briefings and pleadings.
What we look for
- Fachanwalt für IT-Recht, Datenschutzrecht, or equivalent EU bar qualification with substantive interest in accessibility law.
- Demonstrated activity: published article, conference talk, ongoing matter, or court decision on BFSG / EAA / EN 301 549 / Web Accessibility Directive. We do not require seniority — we require evidence you have actually engaged the subject matter.
- Capacity to take on referred work, and a stated turnaround for first-contact (≤ 2 business days is our target).
- Comfort working from a structured evidence pack — our customers arrive with timestamped scan history, hash-chained audit trail, and the Abmahnung text already triaged.
We are particularly interested in coverage outside DE: at present we have stronger informal contact networks in Germany than in France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, or the Nordics. EU-wide reach is the explicit medium-term goal.
