Market surveillance (MLBF)
The authority that enforces the BFSG for products and services. In Germany: the MLBF, run jointly by the federal states.
Under the BFSG, compliance is overseen by market-surveillance authorities. For products and services they are coordinated through the Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen (MLBF).
The competent authority must be named in your accessibility statement, and consumers can escalate unresolved complaints to it.
