VPAT / Accessibility Conformance Report
A standard document reporting a product’s conformance against WCAG / EN 301 549, often requested in procurement.
A VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) produces an Accessibility Conformance Report: a structured statement of how a product meets each WCAG success criterion (Supports / Partially Supports / Does Not Support). The EN 301 549 edition maps to the European standard.
Procurement teams — especially public bodies — request VPATs to compare vendors. It is a self-declaration backed by testing, not a certification.
